This policy explains how Ovas Build Pty Ltd trading as PropertyThrive (ABN 71 691 023 613), a property development business based in Wollongong, NSW, handles personal information collected through propertythrive.com.au. In this policy "we", "us" and "our" mean Ovas Build Pty Ltd trading as PropertyThrive. We handle personal information in line with the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth) and the Australian Privacy Principles.

What we collect

Property enquiries. Our property enquiry form, which appears on several pages including Get an offer, asks for your name, how you would like us to contact you (call or email), your phone number or email address, the property address, whether you would prefer an online meeting via Zoom or Teams, and an optional message.

Investor network applications. The form on our Apply to invest page asks for your name, the name of your investment vehicle if you have one (such as a family trust or company), your phone number, your email address, the capital you have available, chosen from a set of ranges, and any comments you want to add. The form does not ask for identity documents, bank account details or tax file numbers, and we ask that you do not send them through this website. We may ask for further details to confirm eligibility when we follow up.

Website use. When you browse the site we collect information about how it is used, as explained under Analytics and Cookies below.

We do not ask for sensitive information such as health details. Please leave it out of any message you send us.

Why we collect it

We use your information to:

  • respond to your property enquiry, look at your property and arrange a meeting if you want one
  • consider your application to our investor network and get back to you about it
  • understand how the website is used so we can improve it

We use the details you send only to respond to your enquiry or application. We do not add you to a mailing list or send you marketing. We do not sell your information.

How your enquiry reaches us

Enquiries are emailed to Ovas Build Pty Ltd, which operates PropertyThrive. The emails are sent using Resend, an email delivery service, and the Ovas Build inbox is provided by Google.

When you send an enquiry through this website, we also store it securely in a dashboard run by Pagecog, our website provider, so we can view and manage it. Pagecog handles it only on our behalf. See Pagecog's privacy policy at pagecog.com.au/privacy.

Along with the details you enter, the dashboard records the page you sent the form from and the random visit identifiers described under Cookies, so we can see how you found the site. Pagecog keeps this copy for as long as our website service with Pagecog is active, on Cloudflare's infrastructure. We control the information in the dashboard, so please send any request about your enquiry to us rather than to Pagecog.

Analytics

We run our own first party analytics to see how the site is used. It records the pages you view, how you found us (the referring site and any campaign tags in the link, such as the codes Google and Microsoft add to ad clicks), your approximate location (country, state and city, taken from your connection) and your device type, operating system and browser. We store the page address without any other part of the link, and we never store your IP address or your full browser details. When you send a form we record that a form was sent, with a reference number that matches it to your enquiry in the dashboard, but nothing you type into the form is part of analytics.

This analytics is provided by Pagecog, which processes it for us as our service provider. The data is held on Pagecog's servers, which run on Cloudflare and on Railway in the United States. It is used only to report to us on how the website performs, and it is deleted automatically after 25 months.

We also use Google Analytics, for measurement only. It uses cookies to record how visitors use the site, such as the pages viewed, how they arrived, their device and approximate location, and whether an enquiry form was viewed or sent. It does not receive what you type into our forms. We have not turned on any Google Analytics advertising features: Google signals and user provided data collection are off, and our Google Analytics account is not linked to Google Ads. Google Analytics data is kept for up to 14 months. Google explains how it uses this information in its page on how Google uses information from sites that use its services. You can opt out of Google Analytics with Google's browser add-on.

Our pages load the Inter typeface from Google Fonts, so your browser connects to Google's servers, which receive your IP address and browser details.

This website does not use advertising tags, remarketing or ad conversion tracking.

Cookies

Our own analytics sets two first party cookies: pc_v, a random visitor identifier that lasts about 400 days, and pc_s, a random session identifier that expires after 30 minutes without activity. They contain no personal details and are used to count visits and follow a visit through the site. Google Analytics sets its own cookies (named _ga and _ga_JRL12PCEPQ), which can last up to two years. You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings and the site will still work.

Who we share it with

We share personal information only with the service providers we need to run this website and respond to you:

  • Resend, which delivers form emails to Ovas Build (United States)
  • Google, which provides the Ovas Build email inbox, Google Analytics and Google Fonts (United States and other countries)
  • Pagecog, our website provider, which runs the enquiry dashboard and our analytics, using Cloudflare (United States and other countries) and Railway (United States)
  • Vercel, which hosts this website and processes the technical details of each visit, such as your IP address, to deliver pages (United States)

We do not otherwise disclose your personal information unless the law requires it.

Overseas disclosure

Resend, Google, Vercel, Cloudflare and Railway store or process information outside Australia, mainly in the United States. Information you send through this website is not stored only in Australia.

How long we keep it

We keep enquiries for as long as needed to respond and for our business records. The copy of your enquiry in the Pagecog dashboard is kept for as long as our website service with Pagecog is active. Our own analytics data is deleted automatically after 25 months, and Google Analytics data is kept for up to 14 months.

If you ask, we will delete or correct your details unless we must keep them by law.

Security

We take reasonable steps to protect the information we hold. This website only accepts encrypted connections (HTTPS). No system is completely secure, so please do not send more through our forms than you need to.

Access and correction

You can ask for a copy of the personal information we hold about you, or ask us to correct or delete it. Contact us as described below and we will respond within 30 days.

Complaints

If you think we have mishandled your personal information, please contact us first so we can look into it. If you are not satisfied with our response, you can complain to the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner at oaic.gov.au or on 1300 363 992.
